The Forget House

At the corner of Sherbrooke Street West and Drummond stands the last intact turn-of-the-century block of Montreal's Golden Square Mile, offering a glimpse into life over a century ago. Adjacent to the University Club, now housed in the Reid-Wilson House, is the elegant home once belonging to Senator Louis-Joseph Forget.

On Wednesday, October 11th, the Club will be giving a private tour of the mansion guided by Mtre Daniel Boyer. Learn about the house's construction, patrimonial and historical value, as well as the prominent figures that have walked through its front door. Guests will reconvene at the Club after the tour to enjoy a glass of wine and a variety of canapés. The dining room will be open for dinner for those interested in extending their evening and dining at the Club.
