The following paragraphs contain the eligibility criteria for each category of membership in the Club:
A person (i) who is a graduate of a university or college approved by the Board, (ii) who holds an honorary degree from such university or college, (iii) who is a member in good standing of a profession recognized and approved by the Board, or (iv) who holds an executive or managerial position and is deemed by the Board to be worthy of membership as a Regular Member.
A person who is thirty-four (34) years of age or younger (i) who is a graduate of a university or college approved by the Board, (ii) who holds an honorary degree from such university or college, (iii) who is a member in good standing of a profession recognized and approved by the Board, or (iv) who holds an executive or managerial position and is deemed by the Board to be worthy of membership as a Young Professional Member.
A person who has attained sixty-five (65) years of age (i) who is a graduate of a university or college approved by the Board, (ii) who holds an honorary degree from such university or college, (iii) who is a member in good standing of a profession recognized and approved by the Board, or (iv) who holds an executive or managerial position and is deemed by the Board to be worthy of membership as an Emeritus Member.
A person eligible for Regular membership who has been a member of the Club for more than 25 (twenty-five) years without interruption.
A person eligible for Full membership who is either (i) the spouse of a member other than an Associate member, or (ii) the widow or widower of a deceased member. For the purposes of this class, "spouse" shall mean, in relation to the member, a person of the opposite or same sex presented by such member as the person with whom such member is, or was as at the date of such member's death, in an exclusive relationship as legal or de facto spouses.
A person whose usual place of residence is outside an eighty (80) kilometre radius the Club's head office; a member who ceases to be eligible under the above criteria shall be required to apply for transfer to another appropriate category of membership.
(i) members of the Royal Family sojourning in Canada, the Governor General of Canada, ambassadors and ministers of foreign countries accredited to Canada and (ii) any person who is a member of the business, arts, academic, commercial and consular communities, on such terms and conditions as the Board shall determine.

A person who is eligible for membership in any other category and who, through his or her activities (excluding membership fees and annual dues) for the Club or those of his or her guests, has generated income for the Club of more than $50,000 during the last full fiscal year of the Club.
