Named “a promising young conductor,” Christophe Huss (Le Devoir), and one of CBC’s “30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians Under 30,” Francis Choinière is a versatile musician active as a conductor, concert producer, pianist, and composer. Winner of the prestigious Prix Goyer Mécénat Musica 2023 and the Hnatyshyn Foundation’s Christa and Franz-Paul Decker Conducting Fellowship, Choinière has collaborated with some of the world’s top international artists, including engagements as chorus master and collaborative conductor for concerts with Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Ramin Djawadi, Hans Zimmer, and Jonsi & Alex Somers.

Gabriel completed a DEC in interior design at Cégep Marie-Victorin (2003), a bachelor's degree in environmental design at UQAM (2008) and enhanced his career by completing certain stays abroad. Following his studies, he specialized in the design of commercial spaces at different scales. After several years as a designer, he perfected himself as a project manager in the world of international retail. Meticulous and methodical in nature, Gabriel's work plays with notions of madness and playfulness.
