The Burgundy Lion has developed one of the most complete and enviable whisky programs in the country or even the world. Along with accumulating the largest collection of whisky in the province and serving more single malt than anyone else in the nation, we have developed a public and private tasting program, that focuses on introducing whisky to the uninitiated and offers uisgeophiles an opportunity to sample rare and unique whiskies.
The Burgundy Lion hosts tastings has grown exponentially over the past couple of years so, the idea of the private tasting room was born and the restaurant's third floor became a private dining scotch room, perfect for 25 people tastings, private dinners and corporate events.
Our tastings are hosted by co-owner and whisky expert, Toby Lyle, curator of the Burgundy Lion whisky list and by another of our resident whisky professionals.
The menu is $90 per person including hors d'oeuvres.
Please register in advance and let us know for any dietary preferences.

At the Burgundy Lion, whisky is the king of the jungle. This British pub is obsessed with whisky, organically growing an accessible list of more than 600 since their 2008 opening. A third floor Scotch room caters to large group tastings, and their rooftop English garden serves a traditional Sunday afternoon high tea.
If petit fours and scones are not your things, the pub menu gives traditional British pub food a Montreal twist. The English Poutine – twice-fried chips topped with classic British onion gravy and your choice of Stilton or traditional cheese curds. The whisky flight of the month, which rotates through various themes, will hopefully aid in digestion.
